We are going to organize a small workshop on the design of the 23 m IACT for
CTA, as announced at the recent CTA meeting in Zurich. The goal is to bring
together interested colleagues and people working on different aspects of such
a large telescope and to prepare a coherent document of a potential
construction. The workshop will be at Jeris, Lapland.
The dates for the 23m IACT workshop are: Arrival: 2010 January 30, Workshop: 2010 January 31 - February 5, Departure: 2010 February 6.
The AGN workshop planned to take place at the same location from 26 - 30 January 2010 has been cancelled.
The general structure of the telescope workshop will be short presentations and general discussions in the morning while afternoons will be reserved for small group discussions and preparation of the write-ups of specific sections.
This workshop is open to all interested people but the number of participants is limited to about 20-25 people. The organization will be handled by members of the MAGIC collaboration.
